What Meleia is

Meleia is an educational tool that explains the written text of a radiology report. Use of Meleia does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Meleia, and does not substitute for the judgment of the clinician who ordered or discussed your imaging with you. Nothing in Meleia is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.

Prohibited uses

Meleia may not be used, and Meleia-powered pages and embeds may not be used, in any of the following ways:

• Presenting Meleia's output as a diagnosis, a risk score, or medical advice, to yourself or to anyone else.
• Removing, altering, or omitting the source labels (the six provenance badges) when sharing or reproducing Meleia's output.
• Using Meleia, or a Meleia-powered embed/partner page, to imply that Meleia or any partner has clinically reviewed, endorsed, or verified a specific report, finding, or outcome.
• Presenting a partner integration as though the partner — rather than Meleia — performed the analysis.
• Uploading a document that is not your own radiology report, or that you are not authorized to submit, without the involved person's consent.
• Attempting to bypass rate limits, abuse the anonymous session mechanism, or interfere with the service's availability for other users.
• Using the portable tool/API surface to build a product that misrepresents Meleia's boundaries (no image analysis, no diagnosis, no risk scores) to its own end users.

No implied endorsement

A partner or embedding site using Meleia does not thereby receive, and may not claim, Meleia's endorsement of that site, its clinicians, or its products, beyond the fact that they are using the Meleia service under these terms.
